Direct dial long distance is no longer available to ResNet customers. You will need a calling card to dial long distance.

ResNet has begun scanning ports for routers (wireless and hardwire). It is against ResNet policy to use routers and if you are doing so, it will result in immediate deactivation of your account. From the KU ResNet Responsible Use Agreement Users may not attempt to implement their own network infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to basic network devices such as hubs (Hubs ARE allowed in specific locations depending on the infrastructure of the building. To see a list of locations where hubs are allowed, please see here.), switches, routers, network firewalls, and wireless access points. Please call 812-0000 if you have any questions.

Today a new version of ResNet's website was deployed. The new look and feel conforms to the new standards set forth by the University and its new visual identity redefinition. Feedback is encouraged.
