influence the speed of your download. If you are downloading during peak business hours some
sites you contact may be slower than at off-peak times. Also the connection speed of the machine
you are connecting to has a significant effect on your download speeds. One metric to test your
overall download speed is a
Net Speed Test.
Speeds above 400 Kbps are average and will indicate that the source of your slow download most
likely lies within the server you are trying to contact. If you consistently experience speeds
