IT ResNet Wireless: Macintosh OS 10.3/10.4 Configuration

1. Review the System Requirements to make sure that your computer is ready to connect to a secure wireless network.
   
   
2. Click on the Airport icon at the top of the screen to display the list of available networks.
   1. If KU-RESNET is in the list of networks, click on it to connect.
   2. If KU-RESNET is not in the list of networks, click Join Other Network. 

   

3. Make the following changes on the resulting screen:
   1. Network Name: = KU-RESNET (dash and all caps needed)
   2. Security:  = WPA2 Enterprise
   3. Username: = your KU Online ID
   4. Password: = your KU Online ID Password
   5. 802.1X = Automatic
   6. Remember this network = Checked

   Click Join to continue

   

4. A screen will appear that asks you to verify the certificate.  Click Show Certificate and verify that the certificate is for adhome-lawc-01.home.ku.edu .  If it is, click Continue.

   

5. The computer will connect to KU-RESNET.  KU-RESNET will then appear in the list of networks in the Airport whenever it is in range.
