We're pleased to announce installation of a secure wireless service for residential students. Phase I includes main lobbies of the large residence halls in an effort to provide service most quickly to the largest number of students. Alternating floor lounges in smaller residence halls are also receiving service.
Future phases of wireless service installation will include the other scholarship halls and additional floor lounges in the residence halls. Consideration will also be given to the desirability and fiscal viability of installing sufficient access points to achieve wireless access in individual student rooms.
Wireless access in Jayhawker Towers will be achieved as each building is renovated. Wireless access points will be installed in the living room of each apartment during renovation.
Stouffer Place requires infrastructure upgrades to be eligible for wireless service installation. A strategy has not yet been determined for the addition of this service.
